    The association was founded for the standardization of equipment and rules to create conformity so players from different areas can compete on the same standard. 

    The association will be comprised of bean bag enthusiasts who can join with others who share the love for the game. 

    The association is willing to sanction tournaments, events, and leagues.

Many different sizes and styles of boxes and bags are out in play today, as well as the different number of bags, scoring rules, and box distances of these games. The MWBBA's goal is to create level play for "official" tournament and league play and have a readily accessable location for these rules and regulations.
